Rates and Forecasts For French Open in 2016 among women

Westley Ott

French Open 2016 is one of the four Grand Slam tournaments, which is held annually in Paris. Bookmakers make it possible to put both on separate matches and on a major winner.

It is difficult to select the obvious favorite among women, as Serena Williams is not the one to bet on. We do not believe in the rule that she always wins after reaching the second week, as it was shaken by Angelique Kerber in the Australian and Roberta Vinci in the US Open.

Please do not be surprised when you hear / see how one after the other women leave the tournament in the first round. For the modern women's tennis, it is far from uncommon. Kiki Bertens is the 89th racket of the world, who takes part in the French Open for the sixth time. In four of five cases Bertens lost in the first round, or qualifications, and in 2014, starting with the qualifying rounds, she reached the 1/8 finals, scoring six victories. Now, the athlete from Germany can interrupt Bertens. And if Bertens lose against Kerber, this will be her second consecutive defeat in the first round of Roland Garros. It is still unknown how she failed to make the final in Rabat although we also backed Irina-Camelia Begu for that tournament and she fell at the first. Now Bertens’ chances of winning are high and, most likely, a sensation in this game is not going to happen. Her price of 5-2 to upset the German is fair and 300-1 outright is massive.

Carla Suarez Navarro occupies the 14th place. For her, the current draw of Roland Garros is the eighth in her career. The best result was shown in 2014, when she reached the quarter-finals of the tournament. She is an interesting contender at 50-1 outright and 14-1 to win the first quarter. We suppose her to beat Victoria Azarenka on clay. If we were to choose the favorite, our choice would be Garbine Muguruza. The last couple of years Garbine is very confident in the tournament in France, stumbling only on the quarterfinals stage. Given that it is only the 4th Roland Garros in her adult career, and in the last ground competitions in Rome she reached the semifinals, she may surprise us in Paris.

It is quite possible that Agnieszka Radwanska, the world number two racket, will beat Bojana Jovanovski. This Serbian tennis player is ranked only the 122nd in the world rankings. At Roland Garros, she plays for the seventh time and in the past, she did not pass higher than the 7th round. By the way, Radwanska has beaten this rival at Roland Garros in 2012 in the first round in two sets 6-1, 6-0.

Christina McHale has won against Ana Ivanovic and Karolina Pliskova on clay this season and she could oppose to Myrtille Georges, so the first set 6-0 and 6-1 is the play here too.
