Horse Racing Betting Tips for Fakenham, Haydock, Newcastle, Redcar, and Wincanton Events Oct 14

Jonathan Nixon

Here are some of the horse racing tips for the events at Haydock, Fakenham, Newcastle, Wincanton and Redcar. October 14 sees the arrival of several news racecourses to only enhance the horse racing campaign. As part of horse racing today, Fakenham, Haydock, Newcastle, Redcar, and Wincanton are the courses involved in action.

Other courses that races are also going to be held are Downpatrick and Dundalk.

Fakenham

Primarily known for the National Hunt events, Fakenham has been hosting races since 1905. Fakenham Handicap Hurdle at 14:05 and Helhoughton Novices' Chase at 15:15 are seen as the most popular races. Its'afreebee comes into the latter on a spectacular run of form and will be the most popular according to horse racing betting tips.

Going is good.

16:25 - WORKBENCH won on September 30 at Fontwell and was runner-up at the same racecourse on September 4. It's the only runner with recent wins or decent results in the past two months and it's basically the best choice here.

Haydock

St Helens Windows EBF Maiden Stakes has already attracted the attention of many punters with participants like High Commander (backed at 7/2) and Materialist (backed at 9/2) coming favourite when it comes to the best odds for this event. Situated in Merseyside, Haydock has always been immensely popular in this part of the United Kingdom. The presence of many Frankel colts in the races at Haydock should add some excitement.

Going is good-good to soft in places. High numbers possess advantage in 5f and 6f races on soft ground.

13:30 - CORAL SEA has shaped very well all three starts to date and truth is that he arrives less exposed than most so has to high on the shortlist now sent handicapping. Hot Hannah expects to uphold a great form since the last race at Musselburgh.

15:45 - TRADING POINT comes up against some great newcomers but should put that experience he's got to use after the promising debut at Ayr. Materialist and Weekender are among the debutants to note.

Newcastle

Newcastle has always been a historic racecourse, thereby enjoying a lot of popularity amongst horse racing betting odds, but the racing action on October 14 at this course is devoid of the very top races. Still, events like the Jewsons Durham Fillies' Handicap should offer great excitement to punters. Paper Faces and Mustique are expected to put up a close fight for this event. Horse racing tips backs the former at 6/5 while Mustique comes in at 9/2.

Going is standard. No data available regarding the draw.

18:50 - REINFORCED is a great runner with great stats. The recent win on Oct 6 at Ayr sees him in a great form and before that he was 3rd out of 10 runners at Ayr. August 27 - Reinforced won at Redcar. We've got the best choice here.

Redcar

As the track is rated between good to firm-good for October 14, one can expect pleasant action at the Redcar racecourse. Most of the events like Sam Hall Memorial Handicap see the horses like Sporty Yankee backed quite heavily at 10/3. However, the second favourites for this Redcar event seem quite far off the pace and Glorious Legend is backed at 4/1.

Going is good to firm-good in places. The straight course offers an advantage to middle to high numbers.

14:15 - Texas Katie was 2nd out of 11 runners at Yarmouth on October 10. Moved from MR CHANON to ARCHIE WATSON in September and was runner-up at Thirsk on September 13. We see some potential here and it's definitely a good choice.

Wincanton

Harry Dufosee Challenge Cup Handicap Chase and Crestmoor Construction Handicap Hurdle are seen as the top events at Wincanton racecourse on October 14. Even though it primarily hosts hurdle events, bet online offers are also focused on the flat races at Wincanton.

Going is good to firm-firm in places.

14:25 - PETER THE MAYO MAN returned after an 180-day break in September and won two races at Worcester and Warwick. It's in great shape and we expect much of him. NACHI FALLS deserves some respect as he's got a winning streak since August (3 wins).
