Horse Racing Betting Tips for Ascot, Catterick, Ffos Las & More Oct 15

Jonathan Nixon

As the season finale for the horse racing campaign approaches, there are still events at some of the best courses in the world like Ascot.

Ascot

The best of horse racing today is expected to take place at Ascot, which is one of the premier racecourses in the world. Events like the Qipco Champion Stakes (Group 1) offer close to £750,000 in prize money and will see the entrance of top horses like Almanzor and Minding. For the events on October 15, the outer course is rated between good to soft while the inner Ascot course is rated between good to firm.

Going is good-good to soft in places (outer) and good to firm-firm in places (inner). No draw advantage.

13:25 - ORDER OF ST GEORGE has had some hard time lately, being runner-up at Curragh on September 11 and third out of 16 runners at Chantilly. Before that, he saw a winning streak in 6 races. There is plenty of potential here, we bet he's gonna come first!

Catterick

Located in North Yorkshire, Catterick offers National Hunt events in large numbers even during the winter. Horse racing betting tips will favour those with plenty of experience, as excelling at the Catterick racecourse since the track has a lot of dips and rolls.

Going is good. Low numbers have an advantage in all races over 5f and 7f, high best over 6f.

14:55 - AN FEAR CIUIN won the last two races he ran - on September 9 at Chester and on August 24 at Catterick. Trendsetter deserves some respect and Biff Johnson is a good shape.

Ffos Las

One of the Welsh racecourses taking part on October 15, Ffos Las is a relatively new track after opening in 2009. However, Ffos Las has gained prominence amongst fans and those offering horse racing betting solutions with events like the Saxton Drilling Beginners' Chase. The Welsh Champion Hurdle, though, will be the standout event today.

Going is good.

15:00 - BEAST OF BURDEN is a risky bet, but it's one of the best choices since the other runners aren't in great shape. We see some potential here.

Market Rasen

National Hunt events take place at Market Rasen throughout the year. Even though the Summer Hurdle and Listed Summer Plate are the standout events of the year, Market Rasen also offers events like Spire Brewing Company - Chesterfield, Hopink Mad Handicap Hurdle on October 15. They will be popular amongst horse racing tips.

Going is good.

13:35 - THELIGNY is in a great form and saw two victories at Kelso (September 14) and Huntingdon (October 11). Vive Le Roi deserves respect in this race, as well as Doitforjoe.

Stratford

Stratford has been hosting horse racing events since 1769, but interest in this left-handed course has not diminished even now. It is apparent from the numerous bet online offers available for punters concerning upcoming events like Totequadpot Four Places In Four Races Handicap Chase at 15:15 on October 15.

Going is good to firm-good in places.

15:50 - NACHI FALLS won the last three races - since August 10 - at Newton Abbot, Fontwell (September 4), and Market Rasen (September 24). He is literally the best choice here and the future form seems promising.

Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton is one of the few all-weather racecourses that can support flat races. Hence, it is involved throughout the year. The best odds for events at the Wolverhampton racecourse on October 15 will be centric on Fcl Global Forwarding Making Logistics Personal Handicap at 19:15.

Going is standard. No draw advantage.

20:15 - ALFREDO won at Lingsfield on September 20 and the future form seems far better than last month. Had some mixed results this summer but is a good choice. Flying Power deserves some respect.
