Cheltenham Festival: Gold Cup Horse Racing Betting Tips

The horse we are really excited about for this season’s Gold Cup is Native River. He finished third in the race last season, but he was campaigned hard and it may have been a race too far for him. He started this season with a slight injury, but has been given plenty of time to get over it, and has been specifically trained with a shot at this race in mind.

The tip to win the Timico Gold Cup is Native River, currently priced up at a good value with William Hill he represents tremendous value. He has been specifically trained with this race in mind, and will arrive at the Festival at the top of his game – this being a reason why we chose him for our Gold Cup Day racing tips. Native River is currently at a price that we only see shortening as the Gold Cup draws closer. He is guaranteed to stay the trip, and will attempt to test the stamina of those other horses that may have question marks over them. He is a gutsy horse who will battle all the way to the line, and you know you will get a run for your money with him.

He couldn’t have done any more in his reappearance run, when he draw clear of Many Clouds to record a comfortable victory. This has been a very different preparation for him, but that looks set to be in his favour.

The each way tip for the Gold Cup is Definitly Red, a horse who has stamina in abundance and will try to wear down the rest of the field. He has got huge racing odds for a horse that has really impressed this season. He will certainly give you a run for your money, and looks to be a big player in what is a wide open Gold Cup.

At a bigger price we think Definitly Red has a great chance of finishing in the first three of the Gold Cup. He is a huge price with Betsson right now, which represents tremendous value for our tips for Gold Cup. Definitly Red is guaranteed to stay, having won at this trip and ran over further in the past. He, like Native River will be looking to attack the field and wear down any of those horses that have stamina doubts.

He is a straight forward horse, who has no jumping issues and one whose stamina for the race is assured. He won brilliantly at Cheltenham last time out, on ground that was probably a little too soft for him, which made connections go for the Gold Cup, instead of a shot at the Grand National. He is a very talented horse, make sure you don’t underestimate Definitly Red. We really hope our racing tips for Gold Cup Day at OddsDigger will help you become more profitable!
