Cheltenham International Meeting Horse Racing Betting Tips

The feature race of the entire meeting is the International Hurdle and this is a huge day for the horse Melon. He looks to be a hugely exciting prospect and is still learning, this will only be his fifth run over hurdles. However, his trainer Willie Mullins believes he has a chance of contending for the Champion Hurdle, and if that is the case then he has to go close in this one.

He won a maiden hurdle before being thrown in at the deep end, running in a Grade 1 at the Cheltenham Festival and the Punchestown Festival. This is one big reason why we included him in our Cheltenham tips. He ran with credit in both races, coming second, and then started this season with a Grade 2 victory. He is worth his place in the field, looks an exciting prospect and has to go very close if he is to live up to his trainers comments that he is a Champion Hurdle horse. Plus, he boasts amazing horse racing odds.

Guitar Pete is the interesting horse in this race and well worth another chance after disappointing last time out. His last run came at Cheltenham, in a better race than this, but he was hugely hampered at the first fence and struggled to get back in touch. Prior to that he was a very impressive winner at Wetherby and looked to be a horse on the up.

This looks to be extremely competitive, but Guitar Pete has shown a lot of promise earlier this season, and was given no chance last time out. He looks to have a good profile and is an interesting outsider for this race in our tips for Cheltenham today.

This race looks to be full of potentially smart horses and it will be worth keeping your eye on the form of this race for the future. One potentially exciting horse is Equus Secretus from the Ben Pauling yard, who has won both races since joining him. He looks to be a horse needing experience but also looks sure to get better with racing.

In what looks to be a potentially good race, at a big price Eques Secretus can go very well, he looks to be a horse on the up and one to remain on the right side of in our Cheltenham horse racing tips.
