This race looks to be a cracker and is a great pick for our Ascot horse racing tips, and many of these will re-oppose again in the Ryanair Chase at the Cheltenham Festival. We all know how good these runners are, but there is one in the race who could be even better than what we have seen so far because we have not seen too much from him. That is the Northern raider Waiting Patiently, who could be a potential start of the future, and with a win here probably goes off favourite for the Ryanair in a few weeks.

He is unbeaten in his current yard, winning all five starts for them and this looks to be his toughest race to date, but one that he can win. This is a hugely exciting horse, and one we can’t wait to see, check out horse race odds comparison and check his prices, both to win this race on Saturday and also to win the Ryanair at Cheltenham.

After a mini break, we see the return of Black Corton this weekend, and he can come back and register another win in this Grade 2 race. He has been very busy this season, but has been winning with great frequency and has won seven out of his 10 chase starts - he deserves a place in our tips for Ascot Chase. He has a 5lb penalty to carry in this race, but looks to be well ahead of the challengers and can beat them despite the additional weight. A win here would book his place in a race at the Cheltenham Festival, probably the RSA Chase, which would bring his stamina into play and he would have a chance in that race.

Vieux Lion Rouge looks to be heading for another tilt at the Grand National this season, and now the weights are out he can return to racing and put up a good show. He has come down the weights a little after recent runs, which gives him a good chance in any handicap. He can now perform to the top of his game, without fear of going up in the National weights, and that is what I believe he will do. The race looks wide open, but the staying and jumping ability that Vieux Lion Rouge possesses makes him have a great chance of going close. We hope our Ascot Chase racing tips will help you win!
