Romania have only suffered defeat at home once during their opening two matches in Cluj during World Cup qualifying Group E, drawing 1-1 with Montenegro before being outclassed 3-0 by league leaders Poland. On their travels, they are unbeaten.
Denmark have only won at home so far in their qualifying campaign, having suffered a tight 3-2 loss to Poland on their sole away visit to date. The visitors find themselves in third place currently, just one point shy of second place and a place in the next World Cup tournament.
Denmark will be high on confidence after comfortable beating Kazakhstan 4-1 in their last competitive international game, but narrow defeats to Poland and Montenegro highlight their defensive problems. Age Hareide's men have kept just one clean sheet so far in Group E.
Denmark have three England-based players in their squad, with Brentford central defender Andreas Bjelland getting a place alongside the likes of Kasper Schmeichel and Christian Eriksen. Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was surprisingly omitted from the squad.
The visitors are yet to hit their stride away from home in these World Cup qualifiers, but should have enough quality to hurt Romania. This could be the opportunity for them to really solidify their challenge for second place in the table, but it will be a tough test.
