Incredible ringside vision shows full brutality of Tim Tszyu’s TKO win over Tony Harrison

The boxing world is still processing Tim Tszyu’s devastating TKO victory over Tony Harrison — and new ringside footage shows the Australian’s finish was perhaps even more brutal than it first appeared.

Tszyu confirmed his world class with a ninth-round win over American former world champion Harrison in Sydney on Sunday to set up an undisputed world title showdown with division king Jermell Charlo later this year.

Tszyu gradually wore down Harrison before unleashing a barrage of punches to force the stoppage in the ninth round. Such was the ferocious nature of the finish, many felt the referee’s stoppage came too late as the tough American copped blow after blow while hanging on the ropes.

Vision captured ringside by Fox Sports Australia’s Tom Handley centres on Tszyu’s uncle and trainer Igor Goloubev in the closing moments of the fight as he anxiously rides every moment.

It goes on to show the finish from a terrifying angle as Tszyu can be seen hunting and lining up Harrison with a vicious array of uppercuts and hooks before the fight is called.
