Two Class 3 events at Uttoxeter, which holds two high profile races in June and March, will be the pick of the bunch on December 31. Otherwise, the Midlands Grand National and the Summer Cup would be the most popular events at this course. Today, the top events according to the horse betting interest, will be the Douglas Family Handicap Hurdle and Robert Baskerville 2016-17 Chase. 14:50 - CAPE CASTER is a 5-year-old brown gelding, trained by Evan Williams at the moment and he, surprisingly, won at Ffos Las on December 21. Went through two breaks since July 12, but this is his first victory in 2016. Little Jimmy is probably his main contender.
Warwick is now a specialist National Hunt racing venue, has been since 2014, and seven events are scheduled for December 31. Local Parking Security Novices' Chase is expected to be the pick of the bunch with Buveur D'air a clear favourite for the win according to the horse racing tips.
