MK Dons have catapulted themselves up the form table as of late, posing Scunthorpe with a tough away test to tackle in their race for promotion.
The hosts are unbeaten in their last five League One games, winning twice at home in the process. They have lost just one of their last nine games at home, too.
In addition, MK Dons have conceded just three times in their last five outings, keeping three clean sheets while doing so, while Scunthorpe have been utterly dismal on the road.
The visitors still find themselves in fifth place and in the mix for a play-off place, but they last won on the road in League One back in mid-January. Their form on the road is holding them back considerably.
Scunthorpe did pick up a home win against second-placed Bolton last time out, but the Irons are entirely reliant on what they can do on their own patch. They’ve lost their last four consecutive away league games.
MK Dons have been tough to beat as of late, with their home advantage bound to be a real problem for promotion-chasing Scunthorpe. This weekend should see the visitors slip up again.
