Norwich may have only descended into the Championship at the start of this season, but the visitors find themselves arriving at the John Smith’s Stadium 14 points worse off than their opponents Huddersfield.
Alan Irvine was the man chosen to take over from Alex Neil, with the Canaries struggling this campaign, but Norwich haven’t won away in the league since early February. Huddersfield, meanwhile, are on course for a third place finish.
The hosts have failed to score in their last two games, losing in unexpected fashion to both Bristol City and Burton Albion who are both struggling at the wrong end of the Championship table.
David Wagner’s men are now eleven points off an automatic promotion place, with their form needing to take a sudden upturn if they are to claw their way back into contention with Newcastle and Brighton.
Ivo Pinto is suspended for the away side, with Dean Whitehead missing out for the same reason for Huddersfield. The goals have dried up a little for the hosts lately, with the Terriers scoring just four goals in their last six outings.
Given that Norwich have lost 11 of their 20 away games in the Championship this season, it is tough to see how the visitors will take home even a share of the spoils. Huddersfield to return to form this week.
