Fulham have been struggling slightly in recent weeks, after losing to the likes of Wolves and Derby County, but their play-off push should still be made a reality if they can get back on course quickly against Ipswich.
The hosts have kept just one clean sheet in their last eight leagues games, which goes some way towards explaining why they have found it hard to rack up consecutive victories since February.
Recently, Slavisa Jokanovic’s side only beat rock-bottom Rotherham by a 1-0 scoreline, and managed to concede three and then four goals against Wolves and Derby respectively.
Ipswich, meanwhile, finally picked up their first win since mid-February last time out, as the Tractor Boys defeated struggling Wigan by a 3-0 scoreline to get some confidence back.
Prior to beating Wigan, Mick McCarthy’s men had drawn eight of their last nine Championship games, making them incredibly hard to beat but also drab to watch. In those nine clashes, they scored just seven times.
As it stands, Fulham are just two points off sixth-placed Sheffield Wednesday, while Ipswich will be looking to make life difficult for the hosts after drawing 16 of their 40 games so far this season.
