FlyQuest and Phoenix1 share the same 4-12 record with Team Liquid as all three occupy last place in the League of Legends Championship Series summer split. The play-offs are now out of reach for both sides. However, pride and the desire to avoid outright last place is motivation enough to ensure a compelling encounter.

FlyQuest eSports vs Phoenix1 Match Preview

Despite struggling throughout the summer split, both FlyQuest and Phoenix1 have plenty to prove in their final encounter of the split. Both sides will have to watch the play-offs from the comfort of their own homes but they will be keen to end on a high. There is little to choose between the two and the prediction is that the loser will end up holding last place to themselves.

FlyQuest eSports Latest News, Updates and Line-Ups

During the middle of June, Johnny Ru (aka Altec) left the squad to join Team Dignitas. The impact has been felt after finishing a creditable 5th in the Spring Split, the squad have struggled since. The team to face Phoenix1 will feature Balls, Moon, Hai, WildTurtle and LemonNation.

Phoenix1 Latest News, Updates and Line-Ups

After a strong 3rd place finish in the spring split, League of Legends betting odds suggested the squad would be in the running once more. That has not been the case as a host of arrivals and departures from the squad recently has upset the applecart. The much changed squad to face FlyQuest will feature Zig, MikeYeung, Pirean, Arrow and Xpecial.

FlyQuest eSports vs Phoenix1 Head-to-Head

The two sides last met in mid-June in a contest which saw FlyQuest runout 2-0 winners. In game one, Fly secured 17 kills to Phoenix1’s 13 whilst in game two, the Quest took 13 kills to Phoenix’s 3. However, Phoenix did get the better of their opponents during the Spring Split finals with a closely fought 3-2 victory.

FlyQuest eSports vs Phoenix1 Prediction

These two sides are the biggest under achievers of the summer split and will rue perhaps unnecessary multiple changes in both squads. Despite what appeared to be a comfortable win for FlyQuest in the earlier summer split contest, the two sides are incredibly well matched. This will make for a compelling bout with pride up for grabs. One does just have to lean on FlyQuest’s side as the ever-so slightly stronger camp to get the win.

FlyQuest eSports vs Phoenix1 Betting Tips

Both sides have won just once in their last six LoL matches. This makes suggesting League of Legends betting tips slightly trickier than anticipated at the beginning of the summer split. However, FlyQuest eSports do edge the recent head to head encounter and also performed well in the Spring Split. At 5/6 with 10Bet for an outright in, that looks a good way to go although it won’t be easy, FlyQuest to win 2-1 is 11/4 at 10Bet and that is the tip of the day.
