After a reality check in Bangladesh series that ended with a draw of 1-1, English team enters the tour of India, which is predicted to be a tough time both by fans and by experts.

As the world-class English spinner Graeame Swann has retired, we have doubts that Batty, Rashid and Ansair will compete with Jadeja and Ashwin. The Zealand team was defeated 3-0 and Ashwin succeeded to take 13 wickets in the final test. This is his second record at home and we hope that he will proceed in the same way to become India’s top bowler for the test series.
Ben Stokes & Chris Woakes
The best chances to define the class of the opponents offers the fast bowling department. Ben Stokes can be the game-changer for England. He is renowned for reverse swing and bowls at pace, as was evident in Bangladesh. At 6/1 to top the England bowling in not a bad value. Chris Woakes too can have an impact and is dangerous when he bowls close to the batsmen. So Woakes at 9/1 is also worth investing.
India vs England
The last test match that the English team won was in 2012. After this, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the West Indies have been visited. Among them only South Africa have succeeded to end up with a draw and this features an Indian to win to zero score line as a safe bet. Taking this into consideration, 3-0 and 4-0 to India at 9/1 and 4/1 appear to be reasonable investments at this stage. Although, if your patriotic feelings to England prevail, India to win 2-1 is acceptable at 14/1.

Only AB De Villiers can rival for quality with him. He impressed during the game with New Zealand, which manner of playing is similar to the English game. Kohli to make a century at 9/2 is our bet.
As to the England’s top order, this is a real cause for concern. Because of this, let’s turn to the middle order for good value. Ben Stokes and Moeen Ali at 15/1 and 9/1 are our next bets.
