Horse racing action on February 14 sees Ayr, Fontwell Park, and Newcastle stepping up to the plate. These historically rich venues not only host some of the best races but also form a platform for a large array of horse betting options.

Ayr Horse Racing Betting tips

Located in the westerly part of Great Britain, Ayr takes prominence with races like the Ayr Gold Cup, which is run over 6 furlongs, and Scottish Grand National. The track is expected to be heavy for the February 14 events. The Scobie's Of Ayr Handicap Chase is a Class 3 event which will be run over 2M 4F. Bernardelli and Master Ruffit are likely to be the favourites for success in the horse racing odds. This is the only Class 3 and above event at Ayr, which also hosts two Class 4 events today.

Going is soft-heavy in places.

15:20 - BESCOT SPRINGS last won at Kelso on January 15. He's had ups and downs, but his results from the fall of 2016 prove that he can be counted on. The 12-year-old bay gelding definitely has an ace up that sleeve. The odds are 2/1 for him to win, while Oscar's Prospect (7/2) is his main rival.

15:50 - MUMGOS DEBUT's second place at Uttoxeter closed a series of his two consecutive victories in November. The 9-year-old bay gelding has managed to obtain great results (mostly second and third places throughout the years), but only recently has he managed to win. We expect a victory here, although Casual Cavalier (5/2) is also dangerous. Mumgos Debut is 5/4 to win the race.

16:50 - UNCLE ALASTAIR is a 5-year-old bay gelding who hasn't raced much as of late. However, his victory at Wetherby on January 6 shows us that he's improved a lot and has what it takes to dominate at Ayr.

Fontwell Park Horse Racing Betting tips

Fontwell Park is located in West Sussex. It is an ideal ground for witnessing a lot of National Hunt racing action, as it is held throughout the year. Horse racing betting at Fontwell is also heavily focused on races like the National Spirit Handicap Hurdle – a Grade 2 event which is run in February. Even though there are not many higher class events on February 14, the E.B.F. 'national Hunt' Novices' Hurdle at 15:30 seems like the finest option to bet online. Casper King may be the highest-rated horse coming into the race, but he is expected to face competition from Not Another Muddle.

Going is soft-heavy in places.

14:00 - CHIVERS (3/1) can easily be considered our favourite for this Class 4 race. The 6-year-old bay gelding was third at Leicester on February 1, fourth at Wincanton on December 26 and appears to be improving a lot as of late. He's gone through a 1-year break in 2016, but he saw some victories in the past.

15:30 - CASPER KING won at Exeter on January 17. The 6-year-old bay gelding was second at Taunton on December 20 and also had five consecutive second places between May and October, which shows that his form has been improving. Odds are 5/6 for him to win, while The Mighty Don is his main rival (3/1).

Newcastle Horse Racing Betting tips

Newcastle hosts both jump and flat races throughout the year. Even though it has been hosting races since 1882, the major redevelopment in 2005 has elevated the course to a new level. Horse racing betting tips are involved heavily when it comes to June’s Northumberland Plate meeting. The Class 2 Sunbets.co.uk Handicap happens to be the best event today. Realize is offered odds of 9/2, while his nearest competitor Russian Soul is offered best odds of 5/1.

Betway Handicap at 15:10 is also worth looking at. Natural Scenery is given odds of 15/8 and he is seen as a strong contender to win the race, according to horse racing tips.

Going is standard. No data available for the All-Weather track.

14:10 - TREAD SOFTLY had a disappointing performance at Kempton last time, but it may have to do with the fact that the race came too soon, just 8 days after the Wolverhampton breakthrough success. There will be more of a break between the races this time, so John Quinn's charge can bounce back and resume winning. Life Knowledge and Paddy's Rock are the main dangers.

14:40 - The very steady pace counted against GENRES when he had a close 3rd over 12.4f here last week. Providing there is no hanging around in this next race, he's taken to win. There is absolutely no reason to believe that Taopix will not put in another great shift and he's next best ahead of Melabi, Gabrial The Terror, and Roman de Brut.
