The cricket community has roasted the performance of the two umpires throughout the third Test between Australia and India.
Joel Wilson and Nitin Menon, the two umpires out in the middle, have made several bizarre calls, or non-calls for that matter, over the course of three days of action.
Menon was guilty of missing several calls as early as day one, although the Aussies failed to review the decisions which would have fallen in their favour.
But it was Wilson who copped the brunt of fans on social media on day three.
The Trinidadian official’s initial call of Ravindra Jadeja of not out was overturned after an Aussie review, while he signalled Kuldeep Yadav out via LBW but the ball was spinning down the leg side.
In total, five wickets had required a player’s view, including two Nathan Lyon LBWs on day three.
It was an umpiring performance that the cricket community wasted no time in ripping into.
