Rafael Nadal looks to be close to his best after trouble with injuries and it would be great to see the Spaniard lift a grand slam title after all he has gone through. He has started well and hasn’t dropped a set so far, which is in contrast to his opponent here, Damir Dzumhur, who has dropped three sets in his opening two games. Rafael Nadal vs Damir Dzumhur Betting Tips

Nadal breezed through the opening round, losing just three games against Victor Estrella Burgos to record a 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 victory. He then played Leonardo Mayer and recorded another straight sets victory, this time 6-3, 6-4, 7-6, against all tennis predictions and tips. Mayer proved to be a stern test for Nadal at times, but it could be argued that despite being a further round of the competition, this game against Dzumhur is easier than the game against Mayer. Nadal has looked very good so far and hasn’t dropped a set in the tournament. This game looks a little easier on paper than the ones he has faced so far, and that means he is likely to record another 3-0 victory here. Dzumhur doesn’t look to have the ability to break Nadal often enough to take a set off him, so the 3-0 scoreline looks to be the best bet here. These are our Nadal betting tips!

In his very first game, Dzumhur was on the brink of an early exit from the Australian Open, he was down 2-0 in sets but then staged a huge comeback to put Paolo Lorenzi out of the tournament, beating all men's tennis odds. It was close though, he eventually won 3-6, 2-6, 7-6, 6-2, 6-4 to book his second round place. He again dropped a set in the second round, beating John Millman 7-5, 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 to set up his clash with Nadal. Speaking of Dzumhur predictions, he comes in here as a huge underdog and has to play a lot better than we have seen so far if he is to stand any chance against the Spaniard. If Nadal gets in his groove against a lower opponent then he can really breeze past them as we saw in the first round. He wasn’t as clinical against Leonardo Mayer in round two, but he was a better opponent so expect to see Nadal back to the form we saw in the opening round here. If he is then Dzumhur is not going to take many games off him, and with that in mind, backing Nadal -9.5 games on the handicap looks to be a good bet. A score of 6-3, 6-3, 6-1 is the sort of thing we are looking to see, and that would mean this bet wins with ease. It's up to you to choose your tennis bet of the day!
