This looks to be a great clash between some top class two mile chasers but the star of the show here is Un De Sceaux for the Willie Mullins team. He is a star and looks to be Cheltenham bound in March, with the Champion Chase or Ryanair Chase being his target. In 2016 he won this race before going on to the Cheltenham Festival and it appears to be another great prep race for him, which he can win before arriving at the Festival. Brain Power appears to be the biggest threat to Un De Sceaux in our racing tips for Clarence House Chase, but he is a novice who failed to complete last time out, and this looks to be a huge ask for a horse with so little experience.
La Bague Au Roi relished the step up to three miles last time out and she can go on to record a further win over that distance here. She is a talented and very tough mare, who is a class above her rivals and now that she has shown her talents at three miles, she looks to be one of the best horse bets at Ascot. She has a 4lb penalty to carry in today’s race due to her win last time out, but she is 10lb better than her nearest rival and has the class to beat this field with ease, and we are confident in it in our Ascot tips.
Crossed My Mind has finished 3rd in two competitive handicaps so far this season, including one in the UK and this Irish challenger can go better here and win this weekend. Arthur Moore’s horse remains well treated in the handicap and looks to have a big race in him. This again looks ultra-tough and competitive, but based on what we have seen so far this race could be his turn to win.
Elsewhere, there are many challengers, with last time out winners Thorpe and Zipple Back looking especially interesting. Zipple Back has been off for a while, although if fit he could go well, and is a horse that could still be ahead of the handicapper. We hope our Clarence House Chase tips today will bring you massive winnings!
