It will interesting to see if Bayern Munich decide to rest a cluster of their better players in an attempt to rescue a result from their Champions League tie with Real Madrid, the 2nd leg of which is on Tuesday. The away team’s players will be a little jaded physically and maybe more importantly mentally for their trip to the BayArena. Does that give Bayer 04 Leverkusen a genuine opportunity to cause an upset? Probably not. Bayern Munich’s dominance in the Bundesliga is all consuming, this should still end with an away victory.
