Swansea have picked up wins during their last three home games in the Premier League, with Paul Clement looking to make it four when the Welsh club play host to fellow strugglers Middlesbrough on Sunday.
Steve Agnew is the man entrusted with guiding Boro to safety, following Aitor Karanka’s high-profile departure from the club, but the visitors have only picked up one away win throughout the entire top-flight campaign.
Victories at the Liberty Stadium against Southampton, Leicester and Burnley have dragged the Swans three points clear of the relegation zone, but their battle to safety is far from over, with Boro being the perfect fourth victim.
Swansea have kept just two clean sheets at home since November, but Boro have only won one of their last 14 Premier League outings. Agnew’s men are there for the taking and have scored just 20 goals in 28 games.
Agnew’s men haven’t scored in four of their last five top-flight games, with their toothlessness up front being a huge reason behind their struggles. Swansea have scored 16 more goals than their opponents over the course of the league season.
Swansea’s three home wins in a row gives them the momentum and the belief to make it four, with it tough to see where Boro will pick up points between now and the end of the season due to their lack of a main goalscorer.
