EVENT ENDED!

Arsenal need three points at home against Manchester City to keep themselves relevant in the race for Europe, with Arsene Wenger’s side needing a victory to ensure that they don’t waste their two games in hand over fourth-placed Liverpool.

Match Preview

The hosts have lost four of their last five Premier League matches, which has piled pressure onto their coach and left them needing to make up ground on the top four. Last time out at home, however, Arsenal beat Hull by a 2-0 scoreline.

    - Chelsea 3-1 Arsenal
    - Arsenal 2-0 Hull
    - Liverpool 3-1 Arsenal
    - West Brom 3-1 Arsenal

Arsenal have kept one clean sheet in their last six Premier League matches, leaving the door open for Man City to do some damage. Pep Guardiola’s men are unbeaten in seven and have scored in five of their last six.

On the road, the Citizens have won their last three consecutive games without conceding a goal. West Ham, Bournemouth and Sunderland have fallen to their might, but things will be a little tougher against Arsenal’s offensive options.

    - Bournemouth 0-2 Man City
    - Sunderland 0-2 Man City
    - Man City 0-0 Stoke
    - Man City 1-1 Liverpool

Arsenal vs Man City Prediction and Betting Advice

Ilkay Gundogan and Gabriel Jesus are still the long-term injury absentees for Man City, with Kevin de Bruyne picking up a groin problem while on international duty with Belgium. Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta have thigh complaints.

Petr Cech is still out for the Gunners, but otherwise, Wenger hasn’t had many recent additions to his treatment table. Both teams have quality in offensive areas, which should lead to both goals and entertainment at either end at the Emirates.
