Bradford City are on the hunt for an automatic promotion place but they currently find themselves seven points behind second-placed Bolton Wanderers as they come up against Oxford United.
The hosts are yet to safely confirm their play-off spot but they have a six-point advantage on seventh-placed Southend heading into the weekend. Three points would help to boost their confidence.
Bradford have only managed to keep one clean sheet in their last five league games but haven’t lost a home match in League One since last May. For all of this season, Stuart McCall’s men have avoided defeat.
Oxford, meanwhile, have only won one of their last five matches in the league. That 5-1 win came against struggling Bury but their form has dropped off dangerously to count them out of a late play-off charge.
The hosts have scored just 57 goals in 42 League One games, which pales into insignificance in comparison to the likes of Sheffield United and Scunthorpe who are camped in a similar region of the table.
Oxford will be desperate to kick-start their form, but at home, Bradford just look to be too strong to handle for the visiting team.
