UFC great’s bizarre bedroom reveal as Volk’s awkward dance moves savaged

UFC superstar Jon Jones has revealed a rather unique answer to a question about his performance in the bedroom and also poked fun at Alexander Volkanovski’s questionable dance moves.

Jones will step into the octagon for the first time in three years when he takes on Ciryl Gane for the vacant heavyweight strap in what is the American’s first foray into the UFC’s heaviest division.

With the 35-year-old now just days away from taking on Gane, he’ll no doubt be hoping to avoid the nightmare scenario he faced just before he was due to fight Daniel Cormier at UFC 200.

Jones was famously ruled out of the fight after testing positive for a banned substance just days from the fight, which turned out to be a pill for erectile dysfunction.

But Jones has since found other methods to ensure all is in working order, revealing the secret on Main Event’s Fight Week.

UFC middleweight Robert Whittaker asked Jones “what’s in the smoothie”, questioning if there’s some eggs or protein in there.

Jones replied: “Are we talking about nutrition, really?”

Alexander Volkanovski then said what perhaps everyone was thinking and claimed it was about “performance in bed.”

Jones then revealed the secret is “grapefruit.”

“Try a little grapefruit, guys,” Jones said to laughter from Volkanovski and Whittaker, with Fight Week host Niko Pajarillo labelling the American “an aphrodisiac.”

Volkanovski was also unable to escape a jovial Jones, with the latter quickly changing tact when the Aussie asked him if a fight against Gane excited him.

“I’m getting Jason Statham vibes,” Jones remarked.

Volkanovski replied: “That’s the look I’m going for!”

Jones then poked fun at Volkanovski’s dance moves after they went viral for being alarmingly similar to shadow boxing.

“I got a question for you,” Jones said.

“Can you dance, or is it mostly like shadow boxing?”

Unfortunately for Volkanovski, it was the latter: “Honestly, I shadow box, man, because I can’t dance.”

“Honestly, I shadow box man because I can’t dance.”
