Sandown Tops Jan 7’s Horse Racing Betting Tips with Lingfield and Newcastle

January 7 is expected to be a busy day in terms of horse racing in the United Kingdom. Lingfield Park, Newcastle, Sandown Park, Wincanton, and Wolverhampton are the various locations for horse racing betting action today.

Lingfield Park

A course which has a surface for all forms of racing – flat turf, all-weather, and National Hunt, Lingfield is an extremely important venue in England. A historic venue, which has been involved in horse racing since 1882, shows its pedigree by hosting the Gutherie Financial Planning Services Ltd Handicap Chase at 13:35. Horse racing odds predict Un Noble coming out on top in a closely fought contest. Meant only for the five-year-old plus horses, this race will be on the track rated as heavy to soft. As a result, it becomes even more challenging for punters who are seeking the best odds.

Going is heavy-soft in places.

12:30 - CLAN LEGEND won at Hexham on December 7. The 7-year-old goes against Virnon and Dakota Grey.

13:35 - REVOCATION won at Newcastle on November 26 and was runner up at Carlisle on December 11. He's the best choice here.

Sandown Park

Sandown is likely to have the biggest bet online interest on January 7, courtesy of hosting the only Class 1 event today – 32Red.com Mares' Hurdle. This listed event is only meant for the four-year-old plus horses. Polly Peachum won the race in 2016, but the upcoming event is likely to be won by Briery Queen. 15:00 - DYNASTE returned to running in October and is one of the favourites in this race. Odds are 7/1 for him to win, and Rocky Creed is 15/2.

Wincanton

The standout race at Wincanton on January 7 would be the Bathwick Tyres Handicap Chase at 14:05. Tagrita has won four out of the last five races and is an overwhelming favourite for a win according to the horse racing tips. The highlight event at Wincanton throughout the year would be the Kingwell Hurdle.

14:05 - TAGRITA won at Exeter on December 15 and also won at Huntingdon on November 19.

15:50 - FINIAN'S OSCAR won at Hereford on December 19. He also won at Portrush on October 22. The 5-year-old bay gelding goes against Anchor Man and Black Valentine in this Class 4 race.

Wolverhampton

Dunstall Park’s biggest contribution today would be the 32red.com Conditions Stakes at 19:15. Featuring only seven runners, Dazacam is a huge favourite for the win. Dunstall Park at Wolverhampton has been involved in the horse racing betting scenario since 1993.
