Italy are experts in tournament qualification and they have started their World Cup Qualifying campaign with familiar consistency. Already Group G looks a battle between heavyweights Spain and Italy to see who will finish in the automatic qualification place. Both sides have won 3 of their 4 opening games, with the other game a draw between the pair in Turin back in October 2016. Albania’s form has been mixed with 2 wins and 2 defeats so far and although 6 points represents a great return after 4 games, they aren’t a side likely to cause an upset in Palermo on Friday night. Italy coach Giovanni Di Biasi has a host of talent at his disposal and it will be interesting to see how in form Torino striker Andrea Belotti performs having netted 3 times in his first 5 games for the Azzurri. With Marco Veratti pulling the strings in midfield, there should be plenty of chances for Belotti and Ciro Immobile against an average Albania defence.
This game can go only one way. Italy haven’t lost a World Cup Qualifier since October 2004 and the last time they failed to score in at home in a World Cup Qualifier was in 1997 when they were held by England. The Italians will see this as an opportunity to boost their goal difference. A comfortable home win is on the cards.
Andrea Belotti to score anytime at odds of 10/11 with William Hill looks too good a bet to turn down. If you want more betting advice, then over 2.5 goals at odds of 10/11 with Ladbrokes is also a cracking price.
