Getafe may have only won one of their opening three encounters at Coliseum Alfonso Perez, but Jose Bordalas’ men have been putting in some tough, tenacious performances. Barcelona only escaped with a narrow victory not too long ago.

Our Getafe vs Real Madrid predictions are based on the style in which the home side play, which makes the LaLiga odds very tempting, as there is plenty of value in backing a newly promoted team to not be entirely rolled over by one of the favourites for the league title.

Real Madrid have won all three of their opening away games and can’t afford to drop any more points as they attempt to keep pace with Barcelona at the top of the table, but taking three points here could be a tough challenge.

Getafe vs Real Madrid Prediction and Betting Advice

There has only been more than a one-goal margin between Getafe and their opponents on one LaLiga match day so far. That came when Bordalas’ side thrashed Villarreal by a 4-0 scoreline in September, with no negative results coming the hosts’ way in the form of a thrashing or a landslide.

The home side like to play with a deep defence and two defensive midfielders, meaning that they are incredibly tough to play through. Barcelona needed a late winner from Paulinho to find their way to three points on their visit to face Getafe, and Real Madrid may similarly need a little bit of inspiration late in the game to poke their noses in front.

Betfair offer some very tempting odds to back the away side to only win by a one-goal margin, with you able to triple your money. Given that Getafe have proven time and time again that they are a tough nut to crack in LaLiga, there is definitely a case to be made that these odds are incredibly long given the likelihood of the bet landing.

Unibet offer some good odds on both teams finding the back of the net in Madrid on Saturday afternoon, with our Getafe vs Real Madrid bets taking into account that Los Azulones themselves do have a sting in the tail when given space to attack on the break. They’ve hit the back of the net in their last five consecutive league outings. All but one of those clashes have seen three or more clear goals scored, too.

Given that Real Madrid will be keen to dominate the game and press right on, this should play right into the hosts’ hands. Angel has been in good goalscoring form lately, with star striker Jorge Molina getting off the mark in Primera just before the international break. Both could rear their heads again this weekend.

Our Getafe vs Real Madrid picks back the away side to take the three points as expected, but we are tipping them to have a fairly tough afternoon of it as they make the short trip across Madrid for this contest. The newly-promoted side will have their eyes on nicking a point, but we think they’ll just miss out.
