Match Preview - 19:30 Kick-Off at Camp Nou, Barcelona

Real Madrid continue to lead the table, two points ahead of Barcelona with a game in hand, and that means that the Catalans must win all of their fixtures before El Clasico to stay in the title race. Sevilla dropped to 4th place behind Atletico Madrid after a difficult spell, and their title aspirations are over.

Ironically, Sevilla's form suffered ever since Luis Enrique had announced his departure from Barcelona at the end of the season. Sevilla's Jorge Sampaoli was heavily linked to the vacant job, and that might have been the reason behind their recent woes.

While Barcelona accomplished the amazing comeback in the Champions League against Paris Saint Germain, Sevilla were thrown out of the competition by Leicester City and failed to win any of the last four Primera Division fixtures. Visiting Camp Nou at such form is not especially recommended.

Barcelona v Sevilla Predictions

The odds are firmly on Barcelona in this fixture, and it is only logical given Sevilla's porous form. With Leo Messi back from suspension after missing the game against Granada, it would be natural to expect a goal fest. The Argentinian would love to make the right headlines for Barcelona after the suspension in the World Cup qualifiers.

Barcelona would love to put the result beyond doubt as quickly as possible, and the odds on them leading at half-time and winning (1.61) look tasty. With Sevilla struggling mightily in front of goal, the odds on Barcelona keeping a clean sheet (2.62) are also tempting.
