West Ham can’t seem to piece together a consistent run of good form this season, with Slaven Bilic’s men having flirted with relegation. Everton, meanwhile, have truly impressed.
The hosts have taken four points from their last six available, after drawing 2-2 with rock-bottom Sunderland and beating relegation rivals Swansea 1-0. It should be enough to keep them safe for now.
The Hammers have won just one of their last five home games in the Premier League, as teething problems at their new stadium have left them dependent of scrambling around for points late in the day.
Everton, meanwhile, have lost just two of their last 16 league games, as Ronald Koeman’s men try and make a fist of the fight for Europe. Arsenal and Man United both have games in hand, however.
Goodison Park has been a fortress for the away side this season, but on their travels, they have struggled. One win from their last seven games on the road isn’t a good enough return for the Toffees.
West Ham have proven themselves to be a good side for teams to end their bad runs against, so Koeman and company will hope that the same will ring true this weekend.
