  • Colin Munro’s brilliant century helped New Zealand set India a daunting 197 to win (New Zealand to win ) — 33/20 Unibet
  • New Zealand has never lost a T20 against India before this series, and a win will ensure they remain unbeaten in series wins between the two sides (India to score over 51.5 in the first six overs ) — 5/6 Betway

India vs New Zealand Preview

India were so dominant in the first of the three International T20s that it was hard to see any way back into the series for the Black Caps. That being said, they looked rejuvenated when they won the toss and batted first in game two, Colin Munro building on a watchful start to blow the hosts away with a deadly combination of power hitting and exquisite timing. It seems as if batting first gives a massive advantage in this series as has proved the case in the first two matches. As we compare odds on cricket and, in particular, the 3rd T20i odds, it will be intriguing to see if the visitors can continue their momentum and win the series, or if India will regroup and claim a first T20 series win over New Zealand.

India vs New Zealand Prediction

As we look at the 3rd T20i betting tips in more detail, our betting tips suggest that New Zealand will live up to their billing as number one side in the world and complete the series victory. The visitors are top of the ICC world rankings, while their hosts are sitting fifth in the current table. This has had little bearing on the series to date, with both sides completing one-sided victories in the first two games. India will want to make sure they improve on their performance from game two and put their opponents under the same pressure that saw them waste a number of brilliant chances in game one, leading to a comfortable Indian victory. The visitors cut out the errors in game two and it proved crucial as they romped to a series-levelling win.

India vs New Zealand Betting Tips

After losing the ODI series 2-1, New Zealand were keen for a good start to the Twenty20 series. What they got instead was the polar opposite. Despite an awful start to the series, New Zealand bounced back to wrestle all the momentum from their hosts and level the three-match series at one apiece. Heading into the final match, the visitors have all the confidence after such a strong performance in game two. Couple that with the fact that they have never lost a T20 series to India and it would be silly to look past New Zealand to seal a series victory in game three, especially if the Black Caps bat first. Looking at all the trends surrounding the match, it is easy to see why New Zealand are a brilliant price with Unibet at 33/20 to win the match and with it the series victory.

The two batting performances by India in this series couldn’t have been further apart. A record-breaking opening partnership in game one saw the hosts through to a dominant victory. Contrast that with the second game, where a flurry of early wickets from Trent Boult saw the hosts reduced to 11/2 in the opening three overs. Despite their awful start, they still managed to score 40 runs in the first six overs. The hosts will learn from their mistakes in game two and look to set a platform in the final match, particularly if they have first use of the wicket. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan are in good form, as is Virat Kohli coming in at three. With all that in mind, India to score over 51.5 in the first six overs is good value at 5/6 with Betway, especially if India bat first in the match.
