Hungarian Grand Prix 2016: The third Formula 1 racetrack has never been more exciting!

A Grand Prix was first held in Hungary in 1930, but it was only in the 1960’s that the Formula One found a temporary home in Budapest, due to the changes that came with the World War II. It gathers fans from all around the world each year, since the track first opened in its current place, 30 years ago. The twisty circuit, the third behind Monte-Carlo and Monza, is known for offering impressing races, always memorable. F1 fans remember the ’97 edition, when Damon Hill kept the lead for the final rounds, passing Michael Schumacher, but in the end, a mechanical failure at his Arrows denied him the crown, on the very last lap. Of course, Schumacher was in an extraordinary shape seven years later, when he set the lap record to 1 hour 19 minutes.

Hungarian Grand Prix 2016: when and where?

The Hungaroring racetrack is based on Mogyoród, at about 22 km distance from Budapest. This year, all three days (22-24th, July) are guaranteed to be exciting, the top of being on the last day, with 70 laps of Formula One Pirelli Grand Prix of Hungary, and, of course, the winners ceremony.

Besides being so entertaining, this formula 1 race features the exhilaration of placing bets on your favourites. Want some Hungarian Grand Prix odds to increase your winning chances? Here you have a set of betting tips you definitely want to watch out for.

This edition’s best odds

This year Hungarian Grand Prix race has 11 teams and 23 drivers racing for the first place – this will make for an exciting experience for sure! Great names such as Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Kimi Räikkönen, and Sebastian Vettel (the last year’s winner) will top up the gear on this tight and mazy racetrack. Rosberg is by far the favourite, with 5 Grand Prix trophies on his table this year only, but Hamilton is breathing down Rosberg’s neck, with four champion titles this year, the last one on the British Grand Prix, this July.

However, the best (and worst) part of the 31st edition of the Hungarian Grand Prix is that the competition is high, and it can be difficult to put a winning bet on any of the drivers. While keeping PTS in mind is a pretty good chance to guess the winner, F1 is still an unpredictable auto-racing. Everything can happen. So, better stay in tune for the latest formula 1 news!

Bet online

Of course, if there’s no way you can get to Mogyoród this end of July to see the astonishing race, there’s always the option to watch it online, and even place a bet on professional websites, if you’re feeling lucky.
