Thursday’s Football Tips: Late night thrills in the Copa Libertadores groups
MOST of the action today takes place in the early hours of the morning but there's a couple of late-night games in the Copa Libertadores for punters to sink their teeth into.
The group stage in South America's version of the Champions League is coming to a close and the two matches tonight both come in Group F.
Brazilian side Pameiras have already booked their place in the knockout stages but San Lorenzo of Argentina still aren't home and hosed yet.
They travel to Brazil tonight holding a three-point lead over Independiente del Valle and need to bank a point against Palmeiras to finish the job.
But with the Colombians at home to rock-bottom Liverpool of Uruguay, a defeat for San Lorenzo could see them pinch second spot with a win.

Both Independiente del Valle and Liverpool still have a chance of going through heading into their clash in Colombia but the Uruguayans need to make up a three-point deficit and a seven-goal gap on San Lorenzo.
A win would guarantee Liverpool a parachute to the Copa Sudamericana at least but the bookies can't see it happening as Bet365 make them 10/1 outsiders.
Independiente del Valle are 27/100 hot favourites and that's probably because they beat San Lorenzo at home and were holding Palmeiras to a draw before the Brazilians scored a stoppage-time winner.
