DOMINIC CALVERT-LEWIN was one of the hottest prospects in football after helping England win the Under-20 World Cup back in 2017 but finds his career at a crossroads this summer at the age of 27.
After netting the winner in the final of that youth World Cup, many people were predicting the Everton kid would be leading the line for the Three Lions at Euro 2024.
But injuries have stopped the talented striker from making the step up and he has won just 11 senior caps, with few fans shedding a tear when failed to make Gareth Southgate's squad for this summer's finals in Germany.
Everton's fortunes have mirrored that of their star striker in the last seven years, with one of the giants of the English game reduced to fighting against relegation for the last few seasons.
With the club mired in off-field uncertainty and carrying huge amounts of debt, they could decide to cash in on Calvert-Lewin this summer with just one year left to run on his deal.
