Who Is Playing?

Australia, England, New Zealand, West Indies, South Africa, India, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan will be the eight teams taking part in this competition. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has decided upon five venues that will be hosting the various games. Derby County Ground, Grace Road, Taunton County Ground, and Bristol County Ground will host the various games, while the Lord’s will host the final. Fans can also tune in to the live cricket streaming to watch the matches.

Format

The England cricket team and the other competing nations will be playing in a group and knockout format. The eight teams are grouped together with the top four teams from the table progressing into the semi-finals. The semi-finals between the four teams will then lead this competition to the finals on June 23. ICC has announced that only 10 matches will be showed live on TV but it is possible to catch the latest cricket scores of these games online.

In a nutshell, rather than just split into groups, the 8 competing teams will engage in a round robin tournament for the semi-finalists to be decided. Each country will play 7 matches before the final four playoff.
